I concur! A fast 90mm would be your best bet! Especially for a truck. The 90mm would really help lowend torque.

I really believe a 102mm is overkill and hurting performance.

Well I've been looking for a 6.0 block, so I am still in limbo. Unless some know where I can get a block. The trans I will beef it up to a 4l65e. Do you think that won't be a strong enough trans?

Even more wrong, dont guess. Tell us how a 102mm is overkill and hurts performance?

@sweets10v8- i was thinking that but was unsure.
I know the bigger cubes would be great but I'm trying to build what I have and still try to save for a 67' Nova powered by a 6.0 with the top end by AI with the FAST 102mm intake kit w/ ezefi.

that's a massive top end for such a tiny cam IMO. i have a fully built transmission and fully forged 408 to sell that could really take advantage of that top end you have...

The 5.3 is a smaller motor, the 92mm would help add more power to the overall powerband as apposed to pushing the power to a higher rpm.

I've seen this on bigger LS1 motors.

It would make more peak hp but no soo much throughout the power band.

Again an incorrect assumption, the size of the throttle body opening has ZERO to do with power band!!

The LSXRT is the most powerful cathedral port intake FAST has ever made. It makes more power than the 78/90/92/102 car style manifolds.

Not throttle body, I'm talking about the intake manifold.
