Default after gear swap, TC on...

Ok, swapped my 3.42's for 4.11's, and had the issue where I had to turn off the TC or the truck would bog down. Text Justin at Black Bear, and he did a live tune a year or two ago for me, so he had all my data. So he downloaded it to a new PCM and made the gear change, and sent it to me. So I swapped the computer out, and now the TC light is always on. Anyone ever have an issue like that, where the light stayed on even after the retune? Also, when driving with the AC on, sometimes rolling up to a stoplight, etc, it will stumble down to 300/400 RPMS, almost like it wants to die. I only have maybe 10-15 miles since computer swap, so dont know if it still just needs time to learn.

I DO appreciate Justin, way overboard on customer service. But if others have had this issue, how did you get rid of the annoying light?

thanks in advance.

Doesn't the traction control work off the ABS? Could the ABS or something have been damaged while rebuilding the rear?

could, but also after driving, ABS warnings came on a couple times, before retune.
Gear install was done by a GM mechanic and good friend, he does everyones around here.

You have to reflash the EBCM too. Your ECM knows whats going on but the brake controller is confused.

LOL, I wouldn't call that a dumb question because I'm only guessing when I tell you a Tech2 scanner. But I feel pretty confident with that answer. Your GM buddy should have access to one.

See what he thinks. I just tryed to search for supporting evidence in previous threads but cant seem to find it, which has me second guessing myself.

I did my gears and I tune with HP Tuners. I have not had that problem before. I think you might be having some trouble with something besides the tune. What codes are there?
