I had the same problem with my 04', and I ran a diagnostic because my light stayed on, ran the code on google and found out it was a problem with the grounding system. Basically it said to grind the grounding strap which on my truck was right under the drivers side door, and get a good ground. I did that and ti still came on intermittently. So thats one place to look, but if thats not it, it might actually be what my problem really was.

I had a drivers side wheel bearing going out, and the increased heat was causing the ABS sensor to overheat. The bearing went so slowly that I didnt notice the wheel wobble until it was gone and grinding. I got a new wheel bearing assembly and the ABS sensor is integral to the hub, once replaced the problem cleared and I never had any more trouble.

The ABS system will cause the parking break light to come on, its supposed to alert you to braking problems. So maybe check your bearings. Hope this helps.

It could just be dirty front ABS sensors. There is a TSB open for it. Take the sensors out, clean the crude off them and replace to see if the problem goes away. If not you have some other problem.

So i got it checked out by my mechanic and found out that the lights are a sign of my brake control module going out. It's a six by six plastic box above the frame near the driver side door. which really sucks because a new one costs about $860.
**** i guess I’ll have to push back getting a stall and gears.

look at your speed sensor on the tailend of your transmission, it will also cause your abs brake light to come on.
