I have a 99 silverado with a 5.3. I am looking for help on building to push 10s and need help picking parts on getting it there if anyone could give me some help thatd be great.

 

With a 5.3 it'll be hard to do, but I'd say your best bet is swapping to a 6.0, forging it, and boosting it. If you insist on keeping the 5.3, forge it, and boost and spray the hell out of it.

 

Lamborado runs 11's on just motor with a 5.3.

 

10's is gona be tuff. You will need heads, cam and FI or nos to get there. Along with all the drivline mods to support that kinda power. low 12-high 11's can be had...

 

10s is not a must but would be great but can sacrafice it just to up the horse power I had plans to put cam, head and sts turbo system on the truck but just not sure what heads or cam will compliment it well.

 

You better forge it then, boost the hell out of it. I think if you got 10's with the sts, you would be the first to go that time.. Hope you gots a big pocky book.. 10's on a stock bottom end is gona be a bomb ready to go off, unless your tune is spot on... Your gona have to make 650+ wheel power to go 10's.
