Default 99 Sierra

Just a few questions? I have a 99 Sierra with the 5.3L motor and I raced it at the track last year and ran 16.2 with dual exhaust and a cold air induction kit. My truck was in 2wd and spinning on every launch so this time I plan to run it in 4 high for better traction. How much should this drop my et and how big of a gain should expect from the Hypertech Power Programmer for my truck?

Nothing like a custom tune my friend ... most of the users here started off with hand helds and upgraded to a custom tune . so u might wana think about it ..

as for the hypertech some say 20+

G-luck

Hypertech is good for close to half a second depending on other mods. I knwo the first time i ran my truck with just borla cat back, and k&n FIPK, i went 16.0. The last time i went to the track, about one year later, and many thousands of miles later, i ran a 15.8 with nearly bald 20 inch tires, and a new heavy stereo system, and i still went 15.8.
