I have my eye on a 02 Chevy Z71 with the 5.3 130k miles on it, i just might get that girl if i can talk him down a little does need work shocks, both front hubs/bearings and a new pinion bearing but it runs like a champ u think that 5.3 could handle 75 shot Nos?

im actually about to sell my newly rebuilt l31. completly rebuilt l31 new rings bearings seals. rebuilt heads new seals new z28 springs new valve job. crane roller tip rockers. lunati cam its an lt1 cam as big as i could go Duration @ .050 (Int/Exh): 213/219 Gross Valve Lift (Int/Exh): .447/.471 it has a good rumble. long tube headers.only has maybe 8000 mi. since rebuild. its nice engine has great power about 2k it will need a 2000-2300 rpm stall. from maf to headers $2000 if u pick up. you could arrange delivery at ur cost.

If the motor is broke,i would go buy used and spend $600 and call it a day.

solid advice right there.

I would also not waste time with the L31 Vortec SBC engine. Been there before!
