you can belive or not i dont give a rats *** sorry for the bad wordsThere is no reason to get upset here. You have to expect some questioning of the story when the car you raced should smoke you up top but instead you pulled it. On this board, most trucks on here with the exception of a few, are going to get interrogated if they say the pulled a lt1 or ls1 f-body.

I know its a 6.0, my bro has an 03 SS, he has a cam and headers too but Im sure he wont pull a stock camaro though. My friend and I were riding in his 03 w/5.3 w/cam,headers, tune and 4.10s and got spanked by and bone stock ls1 w/3 people in it..We raced from 25, 45, and ~70....Im not trying to start an argument over this at all, Im just stating what are usually considered facts around here which is why people are finding this race strange. Tell your bro to take his car to the track and see what its running, that may clear things up.

It takes a bunch of hp usually to overcome the weight difference(give or take 1500lbs) and aerodynamics. In drag racing, every 10th is usually equal to 10 hp(roughly). My math could be off, but assume you have around 360 with your mods and he has 290...360-290=70....I would think that you would another 80 to make it even, and then by 90mph, i would think that the aerodynamics would be hindering speed also.....My math could be off so i hope i dont look too stupid.

for all purposes, his car should be running 14.0-14.2 conservatively, thats about 1 sec diff and 7-9 mph faster. Like i said, im not trying to get anything started, im just giving you some explanation why I have questioned you.
