I have a 94 gmc sierra 5.7 tbi. Just got done rebuilding the trans 4l65e. Put a salad bowl on it , msd wires and coil, new plugs k&n drop in, and did the tbi mods to it. Was thinking of putting in a new cam. Any one have any experience with tbi cams. I read mix match things on most of the forms. I would like to get some low end torque, Hp , better idle sound, and fuel economy. Any one have any suggestions on what to go with ,or ones they uses that they wish the didnt.

I had a friend put in a smaller voodoo cam is his TBI truck. Sounded alright and I'm sure it gave it more grunt but I don't have any specs on it or know a ton about them.

 

yea the voodoo cams look nice. Just trying to weigh all my options and get some advice from experience people have had with them. Thanks for your input. Any one elce?

 

check with TPIS, they deal with early FI systems.
