918 spings

ok i bought a set of springs from a buddy of mine that pulled them off a GTO... just kinda curious how can i tell if they are 918s from the stock ones?

If they are black with a blue strip DON'T use them, they most likely have been recalled... You can call comp and get a revised set...

well this are not black with a blue stripe... they looks like the stock valves springs except for they are just a little taller.

are they silver? And I guess the old ones are not black, but more of a metal dark grey...

check the height on them. they should be 1.085" tall and outside diameters 1.290"/1.060"
