Default 91 6.5 turbo diesel

My service truck is a 91 6.5. What are cheap and easy upgrades? What are thw next steps to upgrade performance? Not looking for a 1/4 mile monster just a little more power and betrer drive ability.

I have seen intercoolers mounted on them. You can turn the pump up a little, just watch it, there isn't much left. You can advance the timing by a few degrees, but be very careful there, too much can pop head gaskets. Now if you want to stud the heads, good gaskets and such, then you can go wilder.
