No it is some of yals flanges, tubing and grab bag bends. I dont think yal had a kit for this when i built these. I do think both kinds (Gen 1 and 3) would sell thou for these trucks. The headers yal make for the new model trucks are awesome and if yal did some those year models they would be too.

I think at least a 3/8 inch thick flange is a must. My hedmans have started to warp a little with their thin 1/4 inch steel flanges but for the money they have done well. I think a y into y setup would be nice. Doug thorley tri y's do this but I'm not exactly sure if it's the way I'm thinking. If possible y two opposing cylinders together ( two y's per bank ) and then y the y's together into a 3 inch collector. Should make for some intense scavenging.

I have a question. Seeing as you guys have a truck at your shop for mocking up things. I have a set of pacesetter long tube headers. I am going to buy spun cats and put them right after the collector or maybe in stock location but would you guys be able to bend up a pipe that goes from driver collector to passanger side much like it is stock. My mental image for proper function and usability is that it would go around the trans so the pipe would be bending around the pan and by the tail shaft. and then over to passanger side and not joining the passanger exhaust but riding next to it and then cats and x-pipe. though I feel cats right off the header then the special crossover pipe then x-pipe. but, i know that sounds jumbled and hoopty but in my mind it looks pretty expecially when im going to use v-band clamps because i like form and function. i dont like permanent. but, would that be something perhaps that you guys can do? make that crossover pipe? it was just an idea and being i do not have access to a mandrel bender, that will be the hardest piece to make. just a thought and idea...

The easiest way to make a one off piece for someone is for you to mock it up out of pvc piping to size how you want it and send it to me and i can make it.

I also have the Pacesetter Longtubes for the 96-99 OBS 5.7L trucks. Here is how I did my setup. Started with a 3/8" laser cut flange so that I could connect it all back to by stock catback:

Then welded some reducers in and had the exhaust shop make the crossover and the rest of the Mid/Y pipe:

It all ended up looking like this:

As of now I've switched from the factory duals and made a Y that bolts up to the 3/8" flange and I'm running a Single in/out Magnaflow.

1 5/8" x 2 1/2" collector with dual mandrel bent headpipes that run over to the passenger side that will feed dual cats.

1 3/4" x 3" collectors with dual 2 1/2" headpipes that feed over to the passenger side.

page 2 of this thread shows the Vortec 350 1/2 ton headpipe/cat setup right next to a Vortec 350 3/4 ton truck setup.
http://www.pacificp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9793

The 1/2 ton exhaust is dual 1 7/8" headpipes that crimp down badly in the bends.
The 3/4 ton exhaust uses 2 3/4" pipes and larger cats.

Whatever 1996-99 Vortec 350 truck geaders you make shoudl include and optional heapipe setup with mandrel bends and at least 2 1/2" pipes to connect the headers to the cats. You could even include optional 2 1/2" in/out cats. the Vortec 350's have 2 precat and 2 postcat O2 sensors.

Vortec 305 trucks use a single cat and a y-pipe just like the 88-95 TBI trucks. these trucks have 3 precat and 1 post cat O2 sensor.

Ideally a bung would be included in the drivers side back primary tube to allow the stock EGR feed pipe to be used.
This thread deals with the EGR bung fitting size

This thread shows pics of a 2806-1hkr Hooker Supercomp header that James took and installed the EGR bung, A.I.R. fittings and precat o2 sensor bungs.
AIR fittings are need if the truck has Cali emissions.

Well here is what we are making for the truck-

1 7/8" primaries to 2.5" collectors with dual high flow cats that both go to passenger side with option to hook to factory exhaust or true duals

Also 2 exhaust options-
true duals that both exit in front of passenger side tire
true duals that exit on either side under rear bumper straight out of back.

The truck we have in house is an extended cab short bed.
Pics and pricing to come. should be 100% done with mock up and fixtures in about 2 weeks.
