Default 862 stamped on head

I've got 862 stamped on the front of my passenger side head. Are 862's good or are there better?

there are better, a set of 243's/799's untouched would be a good improvement from what you have. You would lose compression if you don't have them milled though.

Good info here..

On a stockish engine, I would not worry about it. If you want to mod it and get the most out of it then you might want to consider your options.

^^ i agree. i would do headers, cam swap, efans, and tune before i did a head swap...unless ur engine is on a stand. just my opinion though get some used 243s if u want good heads but dont wanna break ur wallet.
