Default 862 heads on lq4

i'm buying a 6.0 for my truck without heads and i'm wandering if i can use the 862 heads off my 4.8 on the 6.0. would they be a good swap for it. also what about the intake? will the 4.8 heads work with the 6.0 intake or can i use the intake off my 4.8? all of this with at least not losing power.

If anything find a set of ported ones, or have some work done to them. They are goong to up the comp a bit, but do not flow like a 317 or 243 head. Try to find 243's also.. The intake will work off the 4.8. 4.8-6.0 intakes are all the same

Putting stock 862's on a 6.0 is like when guys in the old days thought 305 heads on a 350 was the hot ticket... and they had sweet mullets!!!

would it be worth it to just put bigger valves in them? how much would that cost?

IMO no. It would be cheaper and less of a hassle to buy a set of 317's.. These heads will work, but not well for a 6.0 as they are a bit smaller all over, intake cc runners, valves, chambers...
