Any body swap a 8.1 into a rcsb? just wondering what kind of mods would be needed

alot, has no similaritys with the ls1 based engines. not worth it either.

I think Ray at Raylar engine has done one. Do a seach you should find his site. There's one listed on dragtruck.com has ported heads and go gas ran a 11.15 et.

Yeah why would you want to. have 496 ci, the ablity to have a nice 900hp, with out having a strung out small block just have big cubes. NAh In fact I would swap and put in a inline-4 with a big turbo, 600+hp and no torque. That more reasonable. Thats why pro-stock dragsters run 815ci small block. Oh yeah they don't, they run BIG block. BE different, think outside the box. GO BIG!!! ARRRRR...
