Default 6.2 into my RCSB 2005

i used the search button but couldn't find what i was looking for, im thinking on putting a 6.2 in my RCSB 2005, i would like to keep my 4L60E, can someone tell me what i need to do that? can i use the same computer? the motor is from a 2008 denali

hey buddy, hows the truck? YES it can be done, and in your case with the 5.3 its the better swap to do. You can use your pcm computer. But you need a standalone box, that converts the crank signal. Gen 4 and 3 use different signal freq. The box maybe 3-500 approx. But Im sure someone will chime in sooner than later with detail info. I will purchase your LPP headers and wye if you sell.

yep it can be done...i just finished a 6.2/4l80e swap in a 2006 rcsb.
u need the lingenfelter box 24x-58x, knock sensor extension harness, x link(for the 87mm TB), and injector pigtails depending on what injectors u use. and will need to drill and tap ur block for the ls1 knock sensors.

Hey man the truck is fine, driving me to work everyday lol hows urs?
