Default 6.2 Info

Is there a difference in HP and Torque in 2008 and up models. Still working on
a 5.3 to 6.2 swap.

No, not really.

It's 403hp/417tq and 403/415 in the sierra trucks for 07-13. 14+ which is DI are rated much higher at 420/460.

You can google all this info.

Would a 14 be a easy swap on a 2008 with a 5.3

Nope.

Everything is completely different. The displacement is the same and that's basically it. You could never make the motor run with a E38 controller nor could you make the newer computer work with your wiring harness and other BCM/TCM etc etc etc.

Plus 14+ are direct injection engines with specific fuel systems and electronic parts.

In short only a 07-13 block will swap in and work the way you want it.
