Default 6.0 swap pictures

ok so i started my swap tonight at 8pm was bored so i said what the hell might as well start now . got everything done but 3 torque converter bolts left they are a pain in the *** ,and to pull it out and reverse what i already did.








the 6.0 after i painted it it was kinda rusty when i got it.

got it all done it idles well but when i put it under load it backfires and starts missing got to find out tommorow what it is must have left something unplugged or one of the coil packs might have been bad.

I would start by rerouting and dressing some of that wiring, that's a nasty rat's nest you've got there. Judging from that, you've got a pinched wire or bad connection somewhere. Good luck!

well i think it is starving for fuel and thats why it is backfiring cause when i turn my inline fuel pump on it doesnt do it that bad.

you can always reuse your original coil packs, be sure to triple check those plug wires and make sure they are on all the way

well ive done checked all the wires and coil packs thats not the problem im getting frustrated i dont know if i got a vacuum leak ive changed the intake and intake gaskets and blocked the egr hole cause it was leaking a lil bit. the teacher that taught me in tech school thinks it might be fuel he thinks it is starving for fuel.maybe a tune will help and some 42 lb'ers.
