Werd, i did mine with minimal problems at all. With the tune, posi, and headers and hopefully some traction i should be into the 13s with ease.

one quick ques?? are the motor mounts the same or do i use the 5.3 mounts , thanks

Get the 4l80 if you can. You can always install it later.

Those vans come with the 80E in them you should get ahold of the tranny of possible as well. Might save you a lot in the future

yeah i'm telling you i cant believe it either . all he wants is for there to be a motor & trans there so in case the insurance people come by , i'm putting my old 5.3 back , yeah i offered sometthing but he said it was okay I guess he's collecting big time$$$$$ from the other people that hit are companys van go figure
