I just picked up a new, complete 6.0 LQ9 crate motor for very cheap. It was an overstock from 04. Talk to Kevin at autopartsurplus 909-890-1125 . He's got 3 more!!!

6.0 performance?

i was wondering if a 6.0 out of a 2000 silverado 2500 would be a good start on a street/strip motor for a car?

if your goin to do forced induction yes cuz it lq4 has lower compression than an lq9 out of an escalade

I highly recomend getting the LQ9 over the LQ4. The LQ9 trucks have been running the better number even supercharged and have handled as much as 14psi of boost even with the higher compression. Unless you plan to run more than 10psi of boost the lower compression of the LQ4 just makes less power and doesn't have as strong of connecting rods as the LQ9.

6.0 performance?

you think i could stuff a lq4 into say a 92 camaro without any major problems?..hope not its a small block. how would i go about the wiring? and i also heard that i might wanna get a 2001+ lq4 because the older ones have iron heads and a weaker flywheel? true? lol thanks for the help guys
