Default 6.0(lq9) or 5.3 blown

I was thinking about trading my truck in for an 05' but I would like to explore some engine upgrades on my 00' first.

Here are 3 engine combos I was thinking of. I am looking at spending 6-7K.

Please give me ball park figures of HP & TQ numbers for each of the options.

1. stock 5.3L with STS kit, upgaded turbo, and intercooler running max PSI (8-9psi?) on 93 octane.

2. stock 5.3L with intercooled radix, long tube headers, and 3" mandrel bent cat-back.

3. 6.0 (LQ9), dynotech LT headers and HF cats, 3" MB cat-back, K&N intake,
80mm throttle body, mild cam, heads milled to raise CR to 10.8-11.0, 93 oct tune.

You are absolutely correct, but that's what I want to avoid, down the road $$$$. I want one of these combos and I want to stick to it.

I dont now RWHP, but the 5.3 (LM7) is rated at 285 HP and the 6.0 (LQ9) at 345HP from the factory. Which is 60 HP gain or 21% HP increase.

My stock LQ9 with a tune and intake mods dyno'd at 297HP and 317 ft/lbs. Other guys have gotten a little more out of theirs.
