make sure you get a cam for boost. I am sure a few guys can throw out a few things on what exact cam or a rough idea on what you need. other then what you have down I think your good. you will most definetly have to get it tuned by a professional. good luck it sounds like a great time.

Question

I already have a nelson tune, so it shouldn't be a problem. Do you have any cam specs? spring specs?

youwill want 918 springs, now a cam on the other hand I would call a reputable cam manufactureer or dealer like thunder. or someone who builds alot of engines like futral. their contact info is in the sponsor links. -0----=>

It depends on what is important to you. I didn't want to give up drivability, so I went with a low duration 212/218 with a higher lift 557/563 custom grind from Comp Cams. I told several people what I had in mind and this is the cam they recommended. BigTex was who initially turned me on to it, and then Jason at Texas Speed and Performance agreed that for max drivability, with very little tuning and idle issues, this was the cam for me. Most will say it is too small, but I'm not trying for the #1 spot! Call Texas Speed and Performance, they'll help ya out. They talked to me for about 45 minutes before I even spent a dime with them. Great guys!
