Default 6.0 head work

Do any of you have 6.0's with head work? What would be the best for the money work to get done to the 317 heads? Any of you have headwork? How much did it cost. I'll be running a TR224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA if that matters.

6.0 heads already flow really well, but it never hurts to get better heads.

For a street car, I'd go with a set of CNC'ed heads off one of the vendors for a grand or so assembled and sell your heads. It would be a sweet $700 upgrade.

You could blow $3000 if you wanted on custom hand ported crazy stuff, but you're going to hit the point of deminishing returns as far as bang for the buck goes relatively early just because they are great heads to begin with.

i was going to go with and aftermarket set and from what i have read the 317's flow really well. I will be running the same set up as you but only a slighty bigger cam on the lift. I am going to have my heads milled .20 and have a infanate/radial valve job done.. Make sure that whoever you get to do them has done them in the past, from what I gathered it is really easy to have them screwed up...
