6.0 gas mileage

Yes, you can squeek a little better mileage out with tuning.
The real key is going to be what mods you run and how efficiently they work with each other. Mild exhaust, intake and motor mods usually will give a mileage increase. Aggressive mods when coupled together tend to drop mileage when its all said and done.
FYI - I've put my AWD SS back to stock except for a mild custom cam that I left in. Manifolds, muffler, intake, everything else is stock except tuning.... On a recent 500 mile trip, I averaged over 18 mpg including sitting in Houston traffic for a while. Freeway cruise was over 20. Normally, I'm averaging between 16-17 after a mix of city highway driving. When my truck was new, my average was about 15.
