Glad to help brother I'd think that either one of those cams would be good for 30 to 40 extra HP...I know that both the TR and TSP224's are usually good for 40hp, and I believe that TSP's 220r has shown about 35 dyno proven hp. Along with the usual cam swap stuff, you're going to want bigger injectors as the stockers will be maxed out. I'm *guessing* that a low 220's cam only 6.0 would probably do well with about 36lb injectors, although I'd probably go for the 42# Marine 8.1's to allow for room to grow, especially if you're planning on headwork in the future.

Heck Ive seen it make 46hp in a 5.3L even. #54-456-11 (IIRC)
That's the exact cam I'm using in my 4.8 combined with a 3200 stall and it runs great and loves n2o.

I've got a 6.0 on an engine stand that I'm waiting to get my 243s back from the machine shop so I can swap it into my truck but I'm gonna use the same cam. I think they'll work great together

How long do you expect the 5sp manny tranny to last behind your modded 6.0L? I hope that tranny is better than what GM used to use behind the small v8's and v6's. I never had much luck making them last even behind stock motors. Hope they have upgraded them

I vote 223/227 113LSA using Comp's LSL lobes. Should have a nice sounding idle, be easily tunable, and have a broad power range. Should play nice with an M5 tranny too. That's what I'm going to use if I stay n/a.

223/227 sounds like good specs for sure. I think the old 5 speed will be ok for now besides the slow 2-3 shift. I called eps and was recommended the 222/226
