yea i wont be running it hard on the 5.3 tune..i already have a tune wrote up for the 6.0 that i will start off with

one small ground that wasn't hooked into the right position made my interior stuff make a buzzing noise. the other main ground coming off the battery terminal basically wouldn't allow the truck to fire. it did one time for what ever strange reason but it died immediately. after that it just clicked like it had a dead batt

welp i went and hooked up my other grounds and still does the same thing..i did take my coils off the brackets so i could paint them..thats the next thing im gonna check..

ok it is the coil packs...i took the coils off my friends truck and it started right up..put them all together and the wires are all goin to the same spots... i even traded sides and it still wouldnt run with my coils..any one have any ideas??

sometimes i wondered how i made it to be a mechanic..i had the wires on the coils backwards..not the plug wires..

what do you mean backwards? like theyll fit in different orientations other than the correct one? at least you got it figured out!

when i took the coils off the brackets i left them on the wire connectors.. i had them mixed up as in the back coil was on the front and the front one was on the back..

2 seprate grounds on rear top of block and one at L/S front frame rail and two on L/S block behind p/s pump
