About how much am I looking to pay for a 6.0 in my truck? Also, can I just use the block and heads from the 6.0 and bolt everything else on from my truck? Will this be a direct swap? also, where can i find one at? And.........I think that's it, I got a v8 5.3 right now, just lemme know, thx

Buy a 6L with heads and everything else bolts on from your 5.3. Cost depends on how new of a motor you buy and which one. The low output LQ4(315/345 somethin close to that) will ruin you usually in the Houston area about 1600-2000 grand for a sub 20,000 mile motor. For the LQ9(345/3XX) will run you about 2-300 more than the LQ4. Are you going to go to the Houston get together on the 20th?

Ya I'm goin out to the get together on the 20th, ima try to have my tires by then so I kan at least have my rims by the time it comes, I just got the 2" drop in the back friday, I got my rims but now I just need tires, so hopefully I'll have em by the 20th

I did my 6l swap (LQ4) for about $2000 with A custom cam from cam motion, new pushrods, and ARP rod bolts. Just make sure the tranny is ready for it. I know some people that have had problems with them.
