Default 6.0 + 4L60e ?

how well have your transmissions been holding up?

Also, if my trans did go, do you think the dealership would notice 6.0? are there any physical changes other than #s? would they check them?

I dont think any motors are doing well with the 4L60's. Even some of the quicker 4.8's are chewing them up and spitting them out.
As far as the warranty stuff goes, its going to heavily depend on your tech, but I think most would notice. My pops is the Fleet manager at GM here and even we have a hard time scamming warranty work. I wouldnt bank on it if I were you.

Im at the same point as you. Well, I mean Im still doing research. Im going to do a 6.0 + 4L80 swap at the same time since it would seem that would eliminate the need for adapters. Ive heard about need the crossmember from an HD as well or having one fabricated. From what Ive heard the 4L80 with a shift kit has handled everything that has been thrown at it thus far. Im waiting to hear more from Whitt and Parish on this. Im going to start buying stuff in the next month or so. I figure I'll have it done by the end of the year
I may not be all that competitive with some of the trucks on here, but Im thinking a 6.0 at 10#'s of boost, alky injection, and a 50 shot should be pretty quick
