Anyone ever put the 5.7 in their truck and put a radix on it??? and what kind of gains are you getting??? I've got some big decisions ahead of me.

I thought about it but decided on a stroked 6.0 block.The 5.7 has a lot going for it an increase in displacement plus freer breathing cam and heads along with a 100lb weight loss.The only down side might be the higher compression you probably need to run 9lb of boost or less.You'll also need a really strong transmission,a 4L80E is probably the way to go or maybe a 6 speed manual.

 

I have thought about it but I don't want to race the space shuttle.

 

My 5.3 Magnacharged Tahoe turned at 13.2 1/4 mile,I can't wait to see what the 408 Magnacharger will do.Expect more than 450hp with the 5.7 Magnacharger combo,my 5.3 did 449hp.

If your truck is a regular cab short bed you might get away with a heavily moded 4L60E if it's any heavier you'll need a 4L80E if you want it to live.
