Default 5.3L Build: Few Q's

This will be my first build. I have been doing a ton of research and teaching myself as much as i can. I literally feel like i have read too much and its making me unsure of a few things. Id like to see what all you experienced guys think of this proposed setup. Please feel free to give me opinions on where i may be going wrong.

This truck is not a daily driver, however i do want it to remain very streetable and it honestly may never see the track. I want something that is reliable but will make good power.

2007 Chevrolet Silverado Regular Cab Short Box
5.3L V8

Current Performance Mods:
Volant Cold Air Intake
Dynatech Long Tubes w/ High Flow Cats
Corsa Sport Cat-Back
Black Bear Tuned (Will be Retuned)

Cam: Thunder Racing 220/220 112LSA
Thunder Racing Pushrods 7.4/Ti Retainers
Patriot Gold Valve Springs
D.O.D. Delete Kit

Stall: Circle D GM 245mm Pro I 4L60E LS Torque Converter 3000-3200 RPM

Rear End: Eaton Detroit Truetrac
3.90 Yukons or 4.10 GM OEM Gears

Possible Corvette Servo. FLT Transmission in the future.

I am relatively decided on this cam but nothing is close to set in stone. I would love opinions. Stall as well, i think this would be my best bet, i want something that will drive well on the street but perform when i need it too. Im going Eaton Truetrac for sure but am undecided on gears. Im currently running 3.42s (stock) and they completely suck. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to try and help me. Excuse my possible ignorance as most of this stuff is relatively new to me. Thanks

Sounds exactly like what I'd like to do to mine. I'm planning on going with a 278 mm stall though. I dd my truck and I need to be able to tow occasionally.

Very well thought out, and also a proven combo. Should be a solid 340 to the wheels.

Thanks for the input guys. Is my stall speed accurate or should i be going slightly higher? What about gears, are 4.10s going to be too much, what i mean is am i going to be able to hook up? Im also planning a set of Caltracs which will hopefully help. Thanks again.

stall speed and determining if a stall is "loose" or "tight" is all personal preference. my truck is the first vehicle i have ever had an aftermarket tc in and my 3200 felt weird to me at first. this was with 3.23 gears though which i think was making it flash higher right off the bat. with 4.10 gears i cant even notice it and am considering going a little higher to about 3400 if i do a trans swap. my advice is find someone with a stalled/geared truck and drive it, find out what you like. IMO since you dont dd it you could go a little higher on the stall since you plan on gears. I love my 4.10s, best mod i have done. more grunt off the line and i drove it on a 3000 mi round trip now twice since they gone in. spins 3k rpms at like 80-85. after a tune i still pull about 16 mpg at that speed, alot better at 65 tho of course. what gears do you have now? 3.23 or 3.42? Do you plan on taking the truck on long trips or just local stoplight stuff?

Have 3.42s right now, hate them with a passion. Honestly, 95% of my driving is nothing over 60 mph, but i still want the ability to take this truck on the highway if/when need be. I dont mind turning more rpm at higher speed but i dont want anything thats rediculous at 70-75 mph. I think im scared of 4.10s haha. Im not understanding what a stall flashing means, i guess i dont really completely understand a stall? Might need to hit the books a bit more.

3.90's good inbetween (3.73- and 4.10) flash is when the rpms peak when you launch then will drop back down to it true stall speed
