Default 5.3 Yukon DOD delete and ls2 cam

What's up everybody. Got a low mileage 09 Yukon that spun a lifter and ate up a lobe. Decided it was time to do a DOD delete etc. Going to install a stock LS2 cam out of my buddies 06 Trailblazer SS along with LS6 springs and LS7 lifters. I know I need a 3 bolt cam gear, Is part # 12586481 the correct gear I need? I know the GEN IV 5.3s have a little higher compression. Would I benefit any milling the heads some to get the CR up a little more? Truck is a DD and not looking to get crazy, just a little extra then your average stock 5.3

I'd leave it alone.

The heads are already great flowing, just make the tune good.

Was under the impression that ls6 springs are good for .550-.570 from what I have read.

Where's a good site to find torque specs? Looking for specs on "heads, harmonic balancer, timing cover, cam gear, exhaust manifold, intake manifold and valve covers".

torque specs, LS1howto.com

Yes, LS6 springs and stock push rods are fine.

If you wiped out a cam due to the DOD lifters, plan on saving for an engine swap.

No it was a regular lifter on #2.. caught it soon as it happened. Damage was very minimal.
