Cant we just play well with each other. I had this thing about rapped up now its 4.8 vs. 5.3 all over again. And we all know the 4.8 is just as good if not better.

Basically it boils down to who has the most money is faster.

If you are not planning on installing a different motor, and are doing just simple bolt on parts I would go with the 5.3. However, there are some very, very good running 4.8's out there it just takes a lilttle more to get power. The 5.3 will respond a little more when installing bolt ons. But, how fast you want to go depends on how much money you want to spend. Has anyone put a STS on a 4.8 yet?
