5.3 tick..... louder than normal ticking..... another problem

Hey guys....
Got another problem to share with yall...
Ok the ole 5.3 has always had the tick on start up and when warmed up..
Nothing major, now its really Ticking at anything above 1500 rpms.. with no load or load..
It pulls timing like crazy sometimes... but in boost its a hit and a miss...
This just started.. ive tried changing the VE Tables and timing... nothing helped.. ITs runnin rich also....
I ran it in Closed Loop and got the fuel straighted out in Vaccum but lean in boost.. but the Tick/Knock is still there
I pulled the Passenger Side Valve cover since the noise was coming from what it sounded like good ole Number 7..
Goin to do a leak down test on all the cyls and compression test....
165k miles and it looked new under there.. everything was tight.. Springs and rockers.
Goin to put the torque wrench on everything when i get home..
Might pull the pan and see if i have any suprises in there..
Does anybody have any ideas?
Suggests?

I was thinkin about a LQ4 and ARP bolt it and start over...

i got my 370 just wanting for some boost.

Got the fuel back right...
But that dang ticking noise is horrible...

With the converter locked in 3rd and doin bout 28mph i can get on it and it seem like right at 1500 it starts the noise...

Just found the trusty ole book...
It says for V-8s Minimum Cylinder Compression Pressure 100PSI
Maximum variation between Cylinders 25% from the highest reading...

Would the valves float at 1500rpms??
I took the DS VC off and tried to move the springs and rockers....... everything was tight..
Ill pull the Passenger side VC when i get off work and see whats under there..
