Default 5.3 parts on a lS2 Block ?????

Fixin to get a ls2 block ..Just wanted to know what fits on the LS2 from a 5.3 or I would have to find all the parts of a ls2 motor ??!!! Help

the top end would all fit and all the accessories will, but the bottom end won't.

cam sensor is on the front cover vs the rear on the top. . .
knock sensors are on the sides vs in the top cover . . . .

all can be reused, but you'll need LS2 top and front covers. . . make your own harness or get one online.

So basicaly everything fits ..like pistons, crank, pulleys, waterpump ect???? ....only the harness an the ls2 front cover ..i have the 243 heads an would get the intake with throttle body ??

Yup I forget who makes it but there is a harness to relocate the cam position sensor.

It's a gen IV engine so there are slight differences, but for the most part everything would fit aside from the obvious things like pistons.
