Default 5.3 LM7 head gasket questions

Hi,
Im trying to source some head gaskets for my 2006 LM7 5.3. Im looking for a slightly thinner set. I don't want to put the factory .051 thickness back in. I want to just slightly increase compression without milling the heads.
Ive found several .040 gaskets from cometic, but I cannot find weather or not it will fit my engine. Can anyone give me some advise?

This is that I'm looking at right now. https://www.briantooleyracing.com/co...d-gaskets.html
I would think I would just pick 3.9 bore, and .04 thickness. Will this work for me?

Thanks
josh

Yes, this will work. The OEM gaskets are similar in bore size.

does any one know if there would be any problem with running that thin of a head gasket? m y pistons are about .005" out of the hole at tdc.

Hard to answer 100% yes or no. Likely it will work with out issue. You should measure the piston rock at the top and bottom just to see how much you have.

It will tighten the quench area.
