Default 5.3 engine performance help

I have a rcsb 5.3l i want to hit 13's n/a. what do i need to do to achieve this. i have lingenfelter gt2-3 cam, k&n fipk, ravin cat back exhaust, and allen nelson 89-93 octane tune. right now im runnin mid 15's and pretty disapointed. what the hell elso do i need? im not that fond of nitrous at this point either. is there anything i can do?

3000 rpm stall converter would help out as would the right gears. What kind of gears are you running now and do you have a posi-traction of some sort? For the setup you have now I'd think you'd be damn close as it is. Also look into some longtube headers.

What year is your truck? You should be hitting mid to low 15s stock, something is wrong. What's the altitude of the track?

truck is an 04 at about 1000 ft.

anyway a stock truck is like 16.3 or somethin so i made an improvment but its less than i was looking for

A stock RCSB 2wd 5.3L should run a 15.0-15.3 with a decent 60'. I was running mid 14's with an intake, tune, muffler and a 2.2 60'. I think that was on 20's as well..

i ran 15.4 completly stock dont know my 60s
you should be in high 14s easily

4.10 gears
sticky tires
less weight
headers & no cats (if legal in your county)
3000+ stall torque converter
possibly some head work if needed

Mostly the weight, gears, and TC will get you the extra umph off the line that you need.
