Supercharger for towing. A Magnuson TVS1900 will do the trick!
Here is the thread about no gains with a TBSS intake and small cams.

If you were just want 20-30 hp a cam change could do it but on top of what you already have it would have to be more radical and would move the powerband up higher in the rpm range and probably loose a whole lot of low end. Then you would have to have a looser converter to make it perform and behave. You could do it with a very good set of heads also but that's also going to cost quite a few bucks. A turbo is extremely powerful but is way more difficult to set up properly. It can definitely be done though and could give you 100-150 hp easily. A PD blower kit would be easiest and the best by far for towing. A Procharger would work too and would build power more like an NA engine. A blower will give you an easy 100+ reliable hp but as with any forced induction the tune had better be good or you lose the engine. A good tuner is an absolute must. Depends on how much you want to spend and you can have anything you want.

Thanks guys there's so much you can do I like the idea of the superchargers seem to be the safest route but I just looked at some videos and they sound like **** I would never be able to find a bad pulley lol. Does anyone know what intakes will actually give me 20 HP?

No air intake is going to give you 20hp to the tire.
Not sure even a different intake manfold will either with the smaller camshaft. It's not flowing enough air and you aren't turning enough RPM to gain all that power.

Helped my dad install and tune a Maggie TVS1900 on his '02 Tahoe, it's very quiet, just a bit of whine under acceleration, as expected. At idle the loudest thing besides the exhaust is the cooler pump . He's running a 212/218 cam also. Great DD manners and pulls pretty good on a safe mild 90 octane tune at 7psi.

Depends on what you want to spend. You can re-work some 706/862 heads on a budget. $300-$500
Or you can get them ported from someone. That can be anywhere from $1000-$2750 depending on what you get.
You can clean up the bowels yourself to gain some flow and get a performance valve job.
You can buy some WCCH-5.3l Stage 2 CNC Heads
Or you can buy some MAMO 205 CNC Heads

So I was going to port the throttle body but mine doesn't have the hump question is can I cut the metal flush from her valve that inside the intake and just use the rest to keep the hole sealed? Do you guys do away with yours when converting to longtubes?
