Are you planing on keeping the stock converter ? the lingenfelter gt 2-3 is a nice cam, you could always go for a ls6 cam.

i got 95k on the stock block and trans. matter of time now but, i was considering a converter.

Keep your engine maintained and it will run another 150k no prob. Any cam that is sub 220 on duration, 114 lsa will be no biggie to drive on a stock verter. There are alot of choices out.

what do you think about the ZR1.. 211/230 dur@.0.050", .558/.552" lift, 112.5 LSA? its only $149, hard to believe the price.

That is a bit of duration on the exhaust side, a fairly tight over lap. I am sure it is doable, but not so sure how nice it will be with a stock truck converter.

Im thinking about changing out the converter to a 3200 stall and going with a vinci cam.
Triple X
DUR @ .004" 284* / 290*
DUR @ .050" 222* / 228*
LIFT .551 / .551
LSA 115
