Default 5.3 Cam swap at 190K miles would you change oil pump & timing chain?

I just ordered my Cam kit for my 5.3 truck with 190K miles (214/222 559/566 w. 115 LSA... Looking to get some feedback on if you guys would change the timing chain/oil pump?

I did alot of research and alot of people said they did cam swaps at high miles and didnt change anything but the cam springs and PRods. I am going budget friendly on this mild build & still have LT's & Converter to buy so I'd rather use the money towards those items. Oil pressure is great and the truck runs fantastic so I am not worried about them lasting longer.

If this is one of those situations where the pump and chain are only like $100 for both Id like to get them but I havent seen anything real cheap. Steer me in the right direction. Would you swap the pump/chain? if so what pump & chain & where is the cheapest place to buy?

thanks,
-Gibson

I would consider 190k high miles. Yes, I would change things out for insurance purposes.

at 190k miles... I'd go double roller gear, oil pump... new short block, lifters, etc...

Timing chain for sure. Iwis makes a really good replacement chain. Oil pump should be ok, but it wouldn't hurt to put a new one in.

Replace both while you're in there, no doubt.
