Default 5.3 build up

I got my hands on a 2000 5.3 complete motor and was just wondering if anyone has any ideas for a good build up. I plan on keeping the bottom end stock but any ideas for a top end would be cool. I was thinking milling the heads and going with a bigger cam and a tune for sure.

you could get thinner head gaskets to raise compression. depending on the cam size you can get the LS6 style intake manifold. LT's and ORY, pulley, good torque converter. are you trying to stay N/A or are you gonna think about various FI plans or n2o?
