Default 5.3 to 6.0 (Hypertech)

I wanna swap my engine to a 6.0 but I was just wondering if the Hypertech programmer three will be effected, it's for a 2002... does that mean the engine will have to be as well for the hypertech to work... I know these are stupid questions but can anyone help me. Thanks <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

If you do a 6 liter, you PCM will not really know its in there. It will know that more air is entering the maf, and that it takes more fuel to maintain stoich, but it wont know its not your stock motor running. Your hypertech will work fine. You might still want to get some sort of custom tuning done to make that 6 liter run like it should.
