Default 5.3 or 4.8
So i bought what i thought was a 5.3 i check the pistons and they were dished and highlighted on the 5.3 in the back of the engine but them i saw it had a 4.8 tab on the head gasket and 706 heads so I'm not sure what it is does anyone know why its like that?

Should still be a 5.3 with the dished pistons, 4.8's are flat top pistons. The head gaskets would fit both engines.
