Here in Mexico, the v8 trucks have the 2500 badges, and the v6 trucks have the 1500 badges, so, the truck that you are talking about its a 1500.

The trucks are the same here and in the U.S. just with different badges, the 400ss is just a 1500 stepside with 5.3L.

If I was that guy I would be pissed. However, 525ish rwhp does seem like the limit of a D-1SC. Procharger really needs to make a cog setup for 2005s, the electric fans leave a lot of room.
I made my numbers with 11lbs, stock 6.0, and a 212/218.

those aren't very good numbers for 12 lbs into a 408. Parish just dynoed like 6??/8?? and he's having problems up top, I think he was running 16 lbs though.

o well he already brought it back to us with a blown up 4l60, so now we have to do the 4l80 conversion

I have seen these 2500s in Mexico. Just a regular 2wd pickup with a 5.3. Actually the 99-02 NBS trucks still had the 5.7 vortec if I remember right!
