Default 402 Radix Idle/missing questions

Got my SLP 402 running. I am having a couple of problems. Nelson tune

#1 it will barely idle. If I let off the gas rapidly or if the a/c is on it stalls.

#2 It starts missing under acceleration. This I cant figure out. I put another set of plugs in, checked all the wiring. I am getting a missfire code. I am wondering if it is running lean? ( I am expecting my AEM wideband next week.)

#3 I had one rocker a touch tight and when I fired it up It was holding a intake valve open and blowing back into the supercharger. Can this hurt anything? MAP sensor?

I replaced all the sensors on the truck during the rebuild. Double checked all the connections.

Any suggestions will be appreciated

The surging is probably because of the cam. I have a nelson tune, and my truck still dies on me.. I need to get it retuned.

Yes,you are probably running very lean, your Nelson tune was probably intended for a 5.3.What size injectors are you running? I would start by richening the entire ve table about 10% then start scanning to properly adjust the ve tables.

This is the first tune from Nelson so I know we will be fine tuning it. I told him it was for a 402 but I will double check that. Just the stock Radix injectors..... I have been watching the other theads. I will try adjusting the ve table tommorow.

The 42lb injectors aren't nearly big enough I'd start thinking about some bigger injectors the 57lb injectors I'm running seem to be doing the job on my Radix 402 setup.

Try www.racetronix.com you will want the high Z injectors,so your stock pcm will run them.
