Not sure if they are roller or flat tappet. How can I find out?

ok, I was told by a buddy that it should be a flat tappet. Is that good, or bad?

If you havent changed the oil yet id start there...Also id put a few drops of marvels mystery oil in each cylinder (via the sparkplug hole) to help lube the rings on the next start up...Theeeeen after a few hundred miles id change the oil again to make sure any and all the sludge gets out of there

i would put a cup full of mystery oil in your oil and make a few passes around town.

as for the flat tappet. nothing wrong there with having a flat tappet.

well i went down to his house this evening after he called and said he had good laugh forme,whoever messed with that thing is a MORON!!! all the rockers are loose, and one was completely turned sideways!! jeez.....some people. we will get it homey, one way or another
