Flowmaster makes a really nice dual 3" to 4" y pipe, and look into a walker stock replacement truck muffler in 4"...

What are you doing to get 500 h.p.? My first thought was, why do you really need 4" exhaust? Mangled put it pretty straight forward.

Are you opposed to just dumping it at the cut out? That seems like the no brainer answer to loud when you want it and quiet when you dont with a 4" system.

This is my plan. I won't run it for long with the cut out open so dumping it right after the headers wouldn't bother me. Plus I want the cut out closer to the front of my rig so when I'm launching the boat, my exhaust isn't underwater.

I would also say that 4" exhaust is overkill on a 500hp supercharged vehicle. That big of an exhaust system might benefit a turbocharger at the power level, but you want to keep some back pressure with your SC. If your avalanche is a NBS, I say put the factory 3.5" duramax exhaust system on it. It fit on my '03 silverado with minor modifications and I got the system for under $100 as well.
