My first thought was 6.0 swap.

Since thats not an option. How about a turbo or 150 shot?

do you have anything done to the truck now?

+1 for nitrous..

Bolt-ons alone won't get you there

bolt-ons plus a cam will get you there i'd bet.

its all about what you're willing to spend and how you want your truck to act.

bolt ons, cam, stall, and tune can get you there. All depends on how much you wanna spend

assuming its an automatic you might wanna set some money aside for transmission replacement/rebuild because I dont see a 4L60E standing up to a 13sec truck for very long.

but I would start with a tune, exhaust of course, some LT headers, a 2600 stall would improve your track time a bit. see what that gets you. Id guess upper 13's low 14's?

then theres also the option of trying some nitrous, building the motor or forced induction. So its about how much you wanna spend

if your looking into some headers get the tri-ys from thorly the 1 5/8 with 2 1/2 collecters youll get better bottom end power i did the pacesetters and lost alot down low some 4.10s and a cam would help and a converter once you start modding you wont more so beware

What kind of exhaust are you running after the Y-pipe?

Ive heard if you get a decent muffler and pipes they will add a little backpressure and slightly compensate for the higher flowing headers and Y pipe.

Intake, headers, exhaust, gears, stall, and of course a custom tune. Weight reduction and a short tire and you should have it.
