Ok, well I know for a fact that GM didn't make 3.90's but yeah Motive offers them for sure. I would personally still go 4.10's.
Wouldn't doing this bring the power in earlier and wouldn't it also make the idle rougher? I think that is what I read on another post. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah, it would give you a tad bit more *** down low, and yes would idle a little rougher. Some like that. Where are you trying to gain the most power and torque. I read above you want to keep the idle stock sounding. Why not go with a ThunderRacing Old Man Cam? Its pretty much designed for these trucks for extra torque and a stock idle.

Well here's the thing....that cam will never have a headache at night, it doesn't have "that time of the month", it won't take your credit card to the mall and max it out, it won't require a new pair of shoes every two weeks.........need I continue?

Then again a cam won't keep you warm at night either.... Naw my GF is great, in 9 months we have not had one fight, not one.
Anayways i have had a muscle car since I was 16, with loud exhaust and a cammed motor. Like when you pull up at a stop light the rock is just vibrating from the motor rockin due to the cam. Cool for a fun car that you don't drive everyday. I am really just enjoying my truck being some what stock and very reliable, and I don't have to yell while driving down the road. Besides like I mentioned earilier I want to try and tune the truck myself, so starting out with the truck stock learning to tune, then a small cam and then down the road a larger cam. I don't like people doing my work for me, I would much rather do it myself. Does that make sense?
