i was hoping i could swap the computer from the 6.0 truck i found, its a 2001 and my truck is 2000, so i dont have to flash it or get it tuned. is that possible? or is it even easy?

 

yes it will work assuming you have all the same options such as gear ratios,tire size and all that jazz. It would be less of a hastle to pay $75 and send the pcm to wait4me if you want to be cheap or you could pay $200-300 and get a good tune.

 

As stated above, if all of the other options match you'll be fine. If not, have one of them reflashed.
