Default 4.8 to 6.0 swap

Hey, I'm alittle new to the site. I have a 2000 4.8 RCSB with the nv4500 trany . I just bought a 6.0 (block, heads, and intake) I also just bought the sts turbo set up with the front mount a2a intercooler. My question is for the motor swap.I was hopeing I could just use my pullies, exhaust manifolds, and harness off of my 4.8. I think I may need to get a 6.0 ecm. The motor is from a 2002 gmc. It has the 317 heads on it. I am hoping for a straight forward drop in. I am also hoping that the 5 speed transmission will hold. I will probablly need a crazy clutch. Any info would help Thanks Bryan.

all the accessories from the 4.8 will bolt right on the the 6.0. i would put in a 02 pcm for the 6.0. the only problem will be the tranny. did they offer that with a 6.0. if they didnt then the pcm will not be programmed for it. you might have to use one for a 5.3 or even yours with a custom tune in it. the sponsers should be able to help out. nelson performance can help out i know. he is a sponser>>>>>>>

will the 02+ pcm bolt/plug up to 99-01 harness, and all the plugs and everyting are the same in the same spot in the 02+ LQ9's as the LM7's

yes it will all work. you might have to run an 02 5.3 pcm in it with a custom tune. i would see if they offer that trans with a 6.0.
