Default 4.8 to 6.0 ?

I am swaping a stock 6.0 for my stock 4.8, my question is will I set any ses lights? Do I have to get it tuned? Thanks patrick

The stock tune will work to get it runing but you will need to get a tune for the 6 down the road.. Strait up swap

As other have stated direct swap however get a tune or at least get tuning software and load in a stock 6.0 tune.

When i did my swap 5.3 to 6.0 the truck ran, but anything over 25 mph ran like ****. I dyno tune would be the best, if not then a nelson tune well do just fine

Going from a 4.8 to a 6.0 would cause the fuel tables to be off that much more compared to a 5.3 to 6.0 jump.
